1 more day!!!!! I have made a couple hundres jell-o shots because Michelle gave me some more containers. We have pineapple, margarita, raspberry, cherry and strawberry!! YUMMY!!!!!

Hello Beavers. I have all the tshirts, koozies and the banner done!!! I am starting to pack and get things together, I am so excited!! I know we aren't suppose to bring jell-o shots, but I think I might make some.... Sound good? Matt (my husband) shot down helping me make the floating beer pong table. Next year for sure!!!! I ran out of time and needed his help. leave it to an "Otter" to kill the fun! :)

2 weeks and counting
OK BEAVERS!!! We only have 2 weeks til the big day. I sent out an email, hope you all got it. What do you guys want to do for the dinner Saturday night after the float? Should we all bring a dish???? Last year we brought stuff and I made hot dogs. Pack snacks and lunch for the float. Hope I don't sound bossy, I am just trying to et organized....
I will bring plates, plastic silverware, ketchup, mustard, ect. i also got a table cloth for the picnic table today.
It looks like I will be able to make koozies!!! YEAH!!!
Called the place we are staying and there is NO "nightclub" at this "resort". So I guess we are going to have to be the entertainment.

BB09 UPDATE
Hello Beavers!!! Now that the 4th of July is over and behind us, it is time to get in gear for
BB-09!!
A fellow Beaver (Michelle) has reserved the beer garden at a place in Cuba on the way to Birds nest Lodge for Friday night. They have homemade pizza and beer. Thought it would be a good idea to stop for a bite and a few drinks. It is only 5 minutes from where we are staying. What time would be good for everyone??? Please let me know.

BEAVER SITING...
I took the boys and my niece to The Mills today and they wanted to go to Cabellas. There is a water fall with a bunch of "stuffed" (dead) animals, and there it was... a BEAVER!!! Tanner, my son, said SO loud "look mom! a beaver!" It was SO funny.

Lodging
We will be staying at Birds Nest Lodge in Steeleville. We have cabins 1, 3 ,5. So far we have 15 people going, with a few more undecided. If more go I will have to reserve another cabin which is fine, but when I called friday, they were booking up, so they can't guarantee availbility. Each cabin has a/c and bathrooms with a small shower,but no kitchen this year so we will have to pack coolers.
Last year we all brought something for dinner Saturday night after the float. I will try to arrange this as soon as everyone gets logged on to this blog.
I think everyone is going to try to leave by 4 or 5 on Friday evening and we can all stop and grab a bite to eat and maybe a drink :) on the way there.
